Warranty Coverage
Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
Our craftsmanship is guaranteed for life. If any issues arise due to installation errors or faulty workmanship, we will address them promptly at no additional cost to you. This warranty is transferable to new homeowners should you sell your property.
1-Year Materials and Installation Warranty
All materials used in your renovation are covered for one year from the project completion date. This includes windows, flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, HVAC systems, and other installed components, ensuring they perform as expected.
Manufacturer’s Warranties
Many of the products we use in your renovation come with their own Manufacturer’s Warranty. This includes items like windows (typically covered for 5-10 years), appliances, and roofing materials. We will provide you with all necessary documentation for any manufacturer’s warranty, so you can be fully informed on how to access this coverage if needed.
Many products we install come with their own manufacturer warranties, including:
- Windows (typically 5-25 years depending on the manufacturer)
- Appliances (1-10 years depending on the product)
- Roofing materials (20-50 years depending on the product)
- HVAC systems (typically 5-10 years on parts)
Upon project completion, we provide you with all necessary documentation for manufacturer warranties, enabling you to access this coverage if needed.

This includes windows, flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, HVAC systems, and more.
We understand that minor issues can arise, and when they do, our team is here to help. Common concerns such as small cracks in drywall or nail pops will be addressed quickly at a time convenient for you. However, if more serious issues occur—such as plumbing leaks or electrical problems—we recommend contacting us immediately to ensure your home remains safe and secure.
Ontario Building Code Compliance
All our renovations exceed the requirements set forth in the Ontario Building Code. This compliance ensures that your renovation meets or exceeds all safety and quality standards required by law.
Consumer Protection Act Coverage
As per Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, you are entitled to certain protections regarding the quality of workmanship and materials. Our warranty policies meet or exceed these legal requirements.

Common Post-Renovation Issues
We understand that minor issues can develop after completion. Our warranty covers:
- Drywall cracks and nail pops
- Cabinet door adjustments
- Grout or caulking failures
- Tile issues related to installation
- Plumbing leaks from our installations
- Electrical problems with our work
What’s Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by homeowner negligence or misuse
- Changes resulting from home settlement or seasonal movement
- Modifications made by anyone other than Maserat Developments
- Acts of nature or circumstances beyond our control
